Everyone of us is #SelfMade. It doesn't matter whether you are broke or rich at the moment. Is hard for me to say this but the truth still remains that all of us are SELFMADE but only the Successful will gladly admit that! 😂😂
If you are going to blame the people around you for all the bad things that happen to you, then you should also blame them for the good things too! I wonder why we feel so comfortable blaming other people or the system for our failures in life but whenever we attain a certain level of success we only think about our Hardwork and commitment and some of us hardly give credit to other people, that's why we have a lot of self-made millionaires but we hardly see people who will gladly admit that they are self made failure. You need to understand that life is not always happening to us but FOR us, and the choices you make today will make all the difference in your life. There is no such thing as overnight success and overnight failure. If you ask some of the people who are living a miserable life today, they will tell you they didn't start messing up today, most of them started from high school and the choices they made in the past brought them where they are today and same thing is applicable to those people who are living the kind of life everybody dream about, they will gladly tell you they started working hard for a long time.
I know a lot of people will cancel this post because they don't want to believe the truth that they actually brought themselves to their current situation in life, they will always want to blame it on their mum, dad, uncles or the government and some people wished they were born into a richer family. Most of the people whose story has inspired our lives, read about them and you will agree with me that majority of them were born into the worst circumstance than most of us, that what we call our 10 percent was actually the 180 percent they need to become what they are today. Imagine a story where a child was born, and the father was not there to take care of them, and the mother of the baby is just 13, a child being raised by a child, think of what the future of that child will be? The 13 year old mother didn't know what to do with the baby so she got overwhelmed and she gave the baby to her grandmother who has a lot to deal with. This same grandmother that had a lot to deal with didn't notice that this little baby before she was up to 13 has been abused more than 3 times. This baby turned 13 and got pregnant as well following the footsteps of her mother, but this time around the girl had a still birth cos the baby had died during the delivering process. Think of the pain an adult mother go through when she lost a baby not to talk of a 13 year old child. The trauma was too much for this 13 year old girl that she went a little crazy with her behaviour and got outrageous, they had to put her in an institution and unfortunately the institution didn't have enough beds so they couldn't keep her there more than a few days and finally released her to man who claimed to be her father, guess who am talking about? Oprah Winfery!
This is Oprah Winfery's story, she went through all that I just said plus she was an African-American at the time in US when people were not judged by their character but by the color of their skin. This woman finally turned out to become one of the most influential people in the world. What does this story say to you?
